The CyMek Software Development Kit (SDK) enables you to integrate CyMek automation into your existing laboratory management and tracking software quickly and seamlessly.
Protocols can be issued to the automation directly from your LIMS, to leverage your existing tracking systems and user interfaces. We use open, XML based interfaces
so your software developers can easily extend your existing systems to drive the CyMek automation.
The CyMek SDK consists of the following:
- The CyMek Developer Guide: A comprehensive description of the XML interface to JobManager. The format of each protocol type is described in detail
- Sample XML: A complete set of sample input and output XML files for each protocol type (PCR, Restriction Digest, etc)
- A full XSD schema description
- A simulator installation set for JobManager to enable you to test your protocols without connection to the hardware
- A single-licence copy of JobEditor so that you can generate protocol XML in all variants, for comparison purposes during development
